Here’s a little bit about me…

I moved to the Atlanta area in 1985. So I have seen a lot of changes to the area in 25+ years. I got my start in the automotive industry in 1993. What I ‘ve learned about it is that there are 2 types of people. First, you have a family history of growing up in the the car business, or, like me, you stumble into it by accident.

What I didn’t know is that I started off in the upper echelon of the industry and didn’t have to work my way through the ranks. My start was at our original location in Sandy Springs, an Atlanta suburb. I spent 3 years moving around the dealership, starting in service and working my way to the Business Development Center (BDC). I quickly developed a true passion for the brand, after learning what Mercedes-Benz was all about, the heritage, the safety innovations, and all the pioneering work they have done for the auto industry as a whole. After a year and a half in the “BDC” I approached our sales manager to make a move for the sales floor. I knew I had an uphill battle because he liked “Experienced” sales people, and I had no previous experience in automotive sales. About that same time I was presented with a sales opportunity at Motorcars of Georgia, Lamborghini and Lotus of Atlanta. Needless to say I jumped at the opportunity.

The experiences I had while working at Motorcars of Georgia were great. Aside from “gaining experience”. I got to drive some of the fastest cars on the planet. Specializing in “High Line” and “Exotic” cars, I have seen, driven, and sold, Ferrari, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Spyker, Aston Martin, and of course Lamborghini and Lotus. I have to say there isn’t anything much better than driving a Gallardo down the back straight away at Talladega Grand Prix Raceway going over 100 miles per hour.

When I found out RBM was building a new dealership in Alpharetta, I decided to put my name in the hat. And that’s where I sit now, working for a great company surrounded by great people, and selling the cars I am passionate about. I guess I don’t consider myself just an ordinary sales person… As one of my clients put it I’m a “Representative of Mercedes-Benz”.

Through my time with RBM, I have spent many hours learning and studying the product line up. In March I finished the last requirement for my Mercedes-Benz Master Certification. I have taken over 50 hours of Mercedes-Benz courses and tests and 36 months to achieve this level. You’ll find that I am always quick to pick up the latest information available about our newest products. If I don’t have the answer to your question, I’ll be happy to get it.

Thanks for your time, I hope to speak with you soon.
